Its no news that apart from weavon cap trending, Natural hair still rocks the scene. Some people gave up on their hair journey because they could not cope anymore. Don't you just love the natural hair of Omoni Oboli, Adesuwa Banky, Chioma Chukwuka, and some other actresses? I will be giving some helpful tips on how to take care of your natural hair and not cry when combing again.
Rule 1. Keep your hair moisturized always: whenever you wash your hair, apply a conditioner for dry and brittle hair to keep it moisturized.
Rule 2. Always Oil your hair: the aim is to never let your hair get dry. Always cream and oil it with natural hair essentials. You could make use of Olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, even your Shea butter does the trick.
Rule 3. When necessary, Trim your hair: always trim the tip of your hair from time to time as weak ends affect growth of hair.
Rule 4. Always weave protective hairstyles: what are protective hairstyles? They are styles that hide the ends of your hair away from being damaged by sun, heat and other manipulative ways. Protect the tip of your hair.
Rule 5. Eat healthy foods: taking of vitamins are helpful to the hair. Also, drinking lots of water helps.
Here's a bonus I am going to add:
Lice makes one very uncomfortable. Imagine sitting with your crush and he picks out something from your hair only to discover it's hair lice... That's an embarrassment right?
Getting rid of Hair Lice:
1. Crush a ball of camphor and mix with kerosene (a little bit harsh on the hair tho). If you can't withstand harshness, then crush a ball of camphor and mix with Oil.
Massage it into hair bit by bit.Make sure it reaches every til of your hair.
2. Cover your hair with a bonnet or a shower cap or with a nylon (anything to stop air from reaching in) for atleast 4hrs. Wash thoroughly and moisturize. Repeat that process for atleast 2-3times.
Have a beautiful weekend
