I saw hell in the last public compound I lived. A compound of 8 face me I face you rooms. I entered that compound without knowing they were owing the sum of One Hundred and Eighty-Nine Thousand Naira as electricity bill. Not until NEPA cut off the light. After the light was cut off, I noticed that nobody in the compound was interested in making efforts for reconnection. I am one of those who like light a lot. So I took it upon myself to go round asking for each person's contribution for the light to be reconnected.
I felt frustrated, embarrassed and disappointed. At a point, one of my co-tenants who is from Igala threatened my life and that landed us in Police Station. At the end of the day, I had to contact NEPA who brought light to my room directly from the pole. That caused me alot of money...
Another experience is in my current compound. I bought 2 horse power window AC. Then one day, my neighbour came and knocked at my door. When I opened the door and asked what brought him, he said my AC is disturbing him that I should remove the AC. I was like are you joking or something?. Meanwhile, the person who just left the apartment used AC in that same place. Even the person that left before the last person used AC in that same spot according to the landlady.
