2cups long-grain white rice
2table spoons minced onion
2table spoons vegetable oil1 teaspoon salt
4cups of hot water
1)place the rice in a colander and rinse thoroughly with cold water,set aside.
2)heat the oil in a a saucepan over medium heat.cook the onion in the oil for one minute,add garlic and cook until golden brown.
3)add the rice and salt and stir until the rice begins to brown.
4)pour hot water over the saucepan and allow to simmer until the water has been absorbed.
5)serve and enjoy your meal
