RECIPE SHREDDED BEEF SAUCE
green peas and beans
red,yellow and green bell peppers
scotch bonnet pepper
Maggi and salt
curry and thyme
ginger and garlic
Wash your beef with salt and leave in a seive go take out excess water,wash and cut your veggies(bell peppers,carrot and green beans),chop your onions,if u are using fresh kidney beans,soak for about an hour then cook till almost done.
In a clean pot on fire,add your oil,allow go get hot then add half of your chopped onions,fry for 30 seconds and add your beef,ginger and garlic powder,curry,thyme,salt and continue frying till it's done and eadible(by now your beef will be looking ash in colour,fry for more than 20 mins,take out one to taste to get your desired softness you can keep frying for extra few mins)
Once your beef is ready,turn in all your vegetables stir and add water just to the level of the vegetable in the pot,add extra ingredients but in lil quantity,allow to cook for about two mins.
Take our lil water from your sauce and mix with 2 to 3 table spoon of corn flour,(depending on the thickness your want to achieve)stir and turn back into the pot,stir add your sweet corn and kidney beans,leave to seamer for extra 2 mins then bring down
Your shredded beef is ready to serve,best enjoyed with rice
Note:if you are using fresh kidney beans and green peas,you have to fry along with your beef so they can get soft,but make sure to cook your kidney beans a bit first.
But if you are using canned ones,it Should be the last ingredients to be added.
