ADDING VALUE TO HUMAN LIFE
What is it that makes one man march forward all his life, while the other has never started? Why is it that some people work out their hearts and sweat blood, yet, they achieve little or nothing, while some just wake up and, before they take a step, their expectation is surpassed? The truth is that those who make it in life are not those that sweat most, but those who knew the secrets of success.
The extent a man can survive in life is determined by the extent he can reason. Some people, instead of reasoning about facts of life, they are reasoning
about non-existing things — things they read in the Bible, things their fathers told them without investigating to find out the truth. Begin now to think on what you will do that will add value to human life. Anything that can add value to human life attracts money. It can be services; it can be supply of goods.
Now, answer this question: Where do you carry your goods and services? Remember that having goods and services or knowing how to do it (rendering services) is not enough; in addition to having goods or being able to render services, you must know where and when to do it. For you to be successful, you must carry your goods and services to where they are needed, where they will add value to human beings. The problem with many today is that they carry coal to Newcastle and come back empty handed. They carry goods and services to where the goods and services are not needed.
